Love Mom

The tattoo on the left displays the appreciation the customer has for his mother. I incorporated the traditional banner with roses. The roses match his mothers name Rosie. Another similar tattoo among western culture is the Heart with Mom tattoo. It is a tattoo where a flowing banner is placed across the front of a heart with the word "Mom" or "Dad written in it.

Che

Ernesto "Che" Guevara has become a popular symbol within tattoo culture. He was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, intellectual, guerrilla leader, diplomat, military theorist, and major figure of the Cuban Revolution. This tattoo symbolizes all of the above. Tattoos should have meaning behind them. There is a lot of meaning behind this one. If there is no meaning, there is not much to tell about it.

Pin-ups

Pin-up girls are classified in the traditional category do to the 40's and 50's era. A pinup girl is basically a woman whose physical attractiveness would entice one to place a picture of her on a wall. Many soldiers during World War II would post pin-ups in their lockers. Today the modern pin- up girl is just as popular but now it has evolved to tattoo art. Sex symbols such as celebrities like Marlon Monroe and Betty Grable can also be seen tattooed on the arms of young men and women.
